As I briefly strolled through my usual websites to see what was new, I came across something very interesting. It was parts of the story of C.S. “Jack” Lewis’ life, one of my favorite writers. I had never read about his life. I only knew he was a Christian whose profound knowledge and understanding of God, always encouraged me. If you have time…and even if you don’t…please read the story behind this man…here is the link.
I just want to say that I have been so encouraged by his struggles and his life…I am excited to read more of his books and I also need to find if there is a biography on his life. His pain filled life has impacted millions…God used it (and his writings) greatly for His kingdom…Who is to say that any pain in your life isn’t meant for the same?
Here are two things he said that I like:
“The point I want to drive home is that God has infinite attention, infinite leisure to spare for each one of us. He doesn’t have to take us in the line. You’re as much alone with Him as if you were the only thing He’d ever created.”
“It’s only when you allow yourself to be drawn into His life that you turn into a true person.”
Mom’s parents…My Abuela Rosa & Abuelo Nonito…
“We weren’t set apart in order to live apart. We were called God’s own so we could confidently go into the world.”
